Shades Outlook

This is a large outcropping of rocks from where a wolf on the right day can see most of the ShadowClan land. Named after one of the more important ShadowClan leaders, the outcropping vaguely appears similar to a wolf lying down, with its 'head' as the look out point most agree trying to stand on the fragile 'muzzle' of the stony outcropping is too dangerous.

Cherry red and colder than the ice that felt like it was being pumped about by her heart, Bramblerose who once upon a time had been a happy pup called Pixiepup stood on the muzzle of the outlook rock shaped like a wolf. Staring out over the territory she strained her brown eyes trying to see as much as she could, despite her wishes her gaze kept flicking towards where Thunderclans territory lay. She remembered meeting him during a gathering some moons past they'd ended up at the border together instead of at the four falls. There was no point thinking about it, especially the part where she felt like she could be what she once was with him. Her loyalty was to Shadowclan she'd picked that when Stormclan had split she'd had the chance to go to any of the clans and she'd picked the clan that valued honor and cunning above anything else. Focusing on what made everything easier she moved off the rock wolfs muzzle, she should find something to hunt, Nightstar wouldn't accept her wandering of to think. A rude snort sounded from the red female, if she'd known that bone head was going to be chosen as their new leader she would have offered herself as a leader. At least she wouldn't be the type to start fights, didn't others understand that Shadowclan was about more than being dark? They valued cunning but honor was so important to the clan as well, ugh they were all so simple, Dragonsteel seemed to be the only other one who understood what the warrior code meant. It didn't mean take others land or be necessarily cruel it meant defending their land, providing for the pups and elders of the clan. Taking the worn path down the rocks, she paused picking up the scent of prey, however further inspection revealed it wasn't more than a mouthful not worth bringing back to the camp. Feeling restless she decided she'd go scout along one of the borders, she became the cold hard bramblerose that she'd been born into.

As she arrived she caught the fresh scent of Bramblerose, since she didn't see her she figured she just left. Blackwidow quickly started searching for prey and found a few plump looking frogs. After catching and killing them she made her way back to camp.

Wafting up, it seemed that he was the first to arrive, which suited him fine. Poking about the wolf shaped rock, he soon formed his physical shape and sniffed about, thinking about the little red female that he'd taken a liking to. He'd go back and visit her soon. Ignoring that the rocky ledges were likely dangerous - what was the point, he couldn't die twice - he settled down right on the point of what could be considered the wolf's rocky muzzle, placing his paws carefully, and wrapping his tail neatly around them. Half shutting his silvery eyes, he basked in the sun, enjoying the warmth while he waited for the Wiseass to show up. This place seemed to be the most like his old haunts, where he'd used to meet up with his lover and they'd watch the stars together. Wishing that he'd been able to find his partner again, the little wolf shook those thoughts away. There wasn't any use, he was alone for good now.

He'd remained a wisp of black smoke during the walk off of Riverclan territory, it was easy to appear to disappear, he was smart, cunning and extremely sly. After all in his past life he'd had to be that or else, coming across the outcropping that resembled vaguely a wolf lying down if you tilted your head and squinted, wandering closer he saw a shadowy figure upon the wolfs muzzle and so easily became his corporeal form and appeared as himself. Grey with black markings all over him and a pair of mismatched eyes, one blue and the other green, the wolf clambered up the rocky formation however it wasn't until he was standing on the look out point that he spoke "Dark forest Agent I presume? We have lots of mischief making to do" he stood there confidently all the while coming up with what they could do together, from tricking wolves in thunderclan to triggering avalanches in Sunclan once the snow fell thicker there. Pretending to be a starclan wolf was admittedly fun, however it seemed the medicine wolves he'd met were too stupid or dozy to understand that their clans were in real danger, perhaps he'd get mercenary to do some devilish work, his mismatched gaze was focused on the others back waiting for him to turn around that they might have some time to talk and plot together

Lost in old ancient thoughts of his life before he died, Atrel barely noticed his companion until he spoke. Frowning a little, his ears flicked slightly. There was something achingly familiar about that voice and that way of speaking, but he brushed it aside. It couldn't be. He'd searched everywhere and had never found his love. Shaking himself a little, he answered absently, still enjoying the sun before he wanted to turn around. "Mmhm, that seems to be the general consensus." Yawning, he flicked a look over his shoulder at the newcomer and froze, not understanding. Surely it was just a different wolf. It had to be. Turning around completely, he stayed where he was for a long few moments, studying the other intently, trying to understand. Eventually able to get to his feet and pad forward, the silver gaze searched the mismatched green and blue one. Finally, it seemed to click in the lean wolf's head and he let out a soft whine, pushing his head into the other's fur. His tail was wagging gently and he nuzzled close, quite unable to believe what had happened, but not questioning it in the slightest.

His gaze sharpened as the dark forest agent spoke with a voice that was achingly familiar, he couldn't be certain why, after all it'd been hundreds of years since he'd last heard a voice like that. Telling himself that it was just a coincidence, that the voice sounded familiar he tilted his head somewhat as the other wolf flicked a look over its shoulder and froze. Seeing a glance of the silver eyes, the wise ass was rooted in place, as the sounds of the world were suddenly unheard everything in him was focused on those eyes. Finally the agent was able to stand and studied his eyes, loosing himself in the silver eyes thoughts and feelings bubbled to the surface, showing in his eyes in the way that they always had. His tail started to wag at the whine and he nuzzled into the other "I found you, Trelly I finally found you" he'd never expected to find his lover again, he'd ended up in the dark forest due to his poor life choices after his lover had been killed and had searched for him there only to find nothing and so he'd retreated deep into the forest letting the thoughts and wounds fester into a burning hatred. Yet it'd taken escaping from the dark forest to find his silver eyed love, quivering with emotion he buried his muzzle in the lean wolfs fur, unable to believe that finally they were together again

Nuzzling into the grey and black fur, he shut his eyes, just listening to the yearned for voice. They were together again, after so, so long. He could barely believe it. "Missed you," he finally managed to get out, snuggling into the other's fur as much as he could. "Searched for you everywhere." He'd searched and searched in Starclan, never able to find him, and even when he'd rejected the stars and begun wandering between the Dark Forest and other lands, he still hadn't been able to find his love. "Don't leave me again, Fox. Not this time." He wasn't sure he could do that again, and he pushed his head under the other male's head, another few whines leaving him. Trembling from the emotion, he began grooming the soft fur, so glad to be together again. It was all alright now, they'd found each other.

It was like having a part of himself returned to him, with his Trelly he felt more whole than he'd felt in years, "Missed you too" he murmured softly his eyes closing stepping closer "I didn't think you'd end up in starclan or the dark forest, i retreated deep within and got tangled up with Eclipsestar" he hadn't expecting the hurt that pierced him as his lover begged him not to leave him. "I won't, I Promise" usually carefree and without restraint the only thing he truly cared for was currently snuggling into him and pushing its head under his whining softly. Not stopping Trelly as he started to groom him, the marbled wolf nuzzled into the black fur before doing the same, there was a part of him that was excited, they'd be able to cause so much chaos and take revenge on these clans for what had been done to them. At home on the shadowclan land, the male was particularly fond of the marsh despite never having been on these territories when he'd been alive, grooming the pitch black fur he took comfort in the simple motion and for the first time since he'd died felt true happiness take hold of him.

Nestling nice and close to his love, the lean wolf relaxed for the first time in a while, intent upon grooming his mate. "I couldn't find you in Starclan. Then I couldn't find you in the Dark Forest." He didn't understand why, not right now, anyway. Likely once he'd got over the shock and pleasure at finding his lover he'd begin to process it all with his quick mind. After all, he wasn't the agent for nothing. He loved information, and knowing that he was no longer alone meant that he could finally stop yearning. "Missed you so much." He couldn't help the quiet murmur, knowing that he'd said it already. Nudging the black and grey wolf, he reluctantly backed away a little, looking up at the bigger male. "Now we'll truly cause mischief, love," he said, a wicked glint already in his silver eyes. There was a rare softness to them as he gazed at his mate, and he nosed the wolf again, quite unable to help himself. He'd been starved of his touch for so long now, he just wanted to curl close in the sun like they'd always used to do.

Not moving away as Atrel snuggled in nice and close, he enjoyed the gentle grooming from the smaller black wolf, it’d been so long since they’d been able to be so gentle with each other and bask in their lovers company. He’d explain later why Atrel hadn’t been able to find him in the dark forest, his mismatched green and blue eyes softened gently when the lean wolf repeated that he’d missed him so much. He understood how he felt, he himself felt like he was finally whole again, now they were a pair again they could continue to persue his desire to change the medicine wolf code. That what had happened to them wouldn’t happen again, and since it seemed his good looking mate was of starclan it meant that he could appear and give advice to the clans and be accepted due to the stars in his fur. Nuzzling his nose into said star studded fur, he inhaled happily, lifting his head as he was nudged and the silver eyed trickster backed away to look up at him. His words and wicked glint enticed a wag of the males tail and a similar wicked glint to appear in his unmatched eyes, running his tongue over his mates head when he was nosed again “I have plans, Handsome. Let us leave this particular place, its not wise to remain in one place for very long” there would be somewhere else where they could nestle together in the sun like they had as living wolves so long ago. They’d talk about his plans and he was more than certain that his star crossed lover and sexy as all hell sweetheart would be keen on following up with what he’d started. Deciding that the raspberry glade on Thunderclans territory would be best for snuggling and talking for a fair while, the grey and black wolf touched his nose to Atrels before leading the way towards the glade

Pleased at the idea of plans, for he was still upset that at what had happened to separate them so long ago, the lean black male wagged his tail gently. "That sounds like a wonderful idea." Licking his lover's cheek gently, he padded quite contentedly after him, ignoring anything else that might be happening around them. In truth, he was glad that no clan wolves had come around and found them, it was just so nice to be in his love's company again. Itching his shoulder absently, he trotted after Wiseass with his tail held happily high, plans and thoughts already flicking through his mind of what they could do to the clans.

The reddish-furred wolf slowed down to a stop as he neared the namesake of the area. In the time it had taken him to arrive, it had begun to snow. Luckily it was only a light shower at the moment. With luck, it would remain that way. He lowered his muzzle to see if he could detect any prey scent. Immediately he caught the scent of a couple of voles. They would hardly be enough to feed a pup, but prey was prey, especially in leafbare. He'd follow the trail in a moment, but for now, he turned back to the other three wolves. "We'll all meet back here by the outlook when we've finished. Hopefully we'll be able to catch a decent amount."

His yellow gaze turned to Silverpaw next. "You can hunt with me, since you haven't been hunting before," he said. "I'll give you a few tips before we begin. Keep downwind of your prey and crouch down low to approach it. Make sure that your tail isn't dragging, and be very careful not to step on any twigs or anything that'll make sound. Hunting takes a lot of practice, so don't feel disappointed if you don't manage to catch anything this time," he told her. "I ran across the trail of some voles. Want to give hunting them a shot?" While yes, it was leafbare and prey was hard to come by, he thought it was important that Silverpaw got some hunting experience even if she failed.

Blackwidow nodded to Thrushheart when he said to meet back here after catching some prey. She walked after from the mentor and apprentice in order to find her own prey. Sniffing around she caught the scent of vole, lizards, and toads. As she started to follow the scent of the vole she noticed that it would be going back in the direction of Thrushheart and his apprentice. So giving up on that idea she simply decided to go after the toad. The scent lead to a little pool of water that had yet to become ice. She carefully and softly placed each paw in order for the toad not to feel her walking up on it. As soon as she was near it she swiped at it.

Blackwidow growled in frustration when the toad hopped away. Not wanting to chance her luck with the toad again. She then got and followed the scent of the lizards. She found one nice and juicy sized lizard. After getting close enough to it she crouched down low, with tail hovering just above ground and leaped at the lizard. Hoping to bring back a decent kill.

The lizard scurried away as it saw Blackwidow leap at it. Feeling rather defeated she started making her way back to the meeting spot when she heard what sounded like the digging of snow. Following the sound she saw a squirrel. So wanting to not go back to camp empty, she slowly creeped up on the squirrel and went to give it a quick death. Blackwidow was either getting really rusty or the prey was getting smarter.

The squirrel simply went into the hole it had started to make and Blackwidow just went back to the meeting spot. Now she remembered why she hated leaf bare so much. Not only was it cold and wolves tended to get sick easier, but the prey was so hard to catch. She remembered this time last leaf bare she had caught greencough. She shivered at the memory. She shook her fur as the snow started to fall again. She hoped that Thurshheart and Silverpaw were having better luck than she did.
