The White Glades Ow6i134

This unclaimed piece of territory is situated on the slopes of rolling hills,
old tree stumps and young pine trees dot the landscape. A great place for a wolf to build up their stamina.

Sniffing around the slopes and trees, Sol determined that there were no other wolves around, and relaxed a little. There was a strange strong scent of two legs around, so he found a place that was nicely hidden out of the way, nudging the white pup into the bushes and hollows. Settling down to groom her gently, he nuzzled her affectionately in between licks, trying to comfort her. "Little pupsie is safeses nows. No wolf shadowys to hurtses uss. Back to sleeps, littlest one. The golden one will stays." Curling around her, he settled into the hollow comfortably, resting his head on her shoulders again to keep her safe. He was glad that they'd been able to get away from the males without a fight or much clashing of words. It just made things so much easier when things were solved peacefully.

The trek to the glades of white had been muchly difficult for the lass on three black paws, having lived on flat land all of her life the sudden rise in elevation was difficult for her. Not to mention she was still recoverings from the teensy breaks down she'd had in the clan of shadows campsy, pausing to shake her head occasionally to try and free the cloudies from it Cheshire finally caught up to where the golden ones was. She was nudged into the bushes and hollows that her sol had guided her into, she settled down more when he began grooming her and snuggled into him rather comfortably. Nodding as he spoke she agreed that here they shoulds be very safe, well mostly the stink of two-leg was enough to make her grin a little savagely. She was curled around, like the golden sol had when she was a littles one, he rested his head on her shoulders and settled down a little more. Yawning the white puppser who had been through so much in her short sporadic life, softly humming the song that so often ran around in circles in her head Cheshire, Sol's Chessie closed her pale yellow eyes and drifted off into a sleepness.

Trotting up with the grin still on her face, Bramble paused smelling two leg stink, however they seemed a fair way off and so she didn't pay any mind. The thick smell of Cheshiregrin however surprised her, what was the quirky white and black warrior doing here? However she decided to pay it no mind, it didn't really matter, she'd been guessing the female was going to leave soon anyway. So she assumed thats what had happened, waiting for Jaydust to catch up when he was in just the right spot she appeared out of the shadows to pounce onto him playfully. In mid-pounce something about the sun drew her attention, scrambling off of him as she finally realized what was wrong with the sun a feeling of dread ruined her happiness. Was this a sign from Starclan? From her mother? That what she was doing was wrong? No No, that couldn't be it, it was far too bold for it just to be them after all. Deciding that must be the case she nudged Jay quietly, brown gaze quiet and almost brooding.

Jaydust trotted along side the fay, sparks flying whenever they touched fur. The feeling of being with Bramblerose was a mixture of exhilaration and warmth, and the male wanted nothing more then to stay with her for as long as he could. Of course, he knew that he would have to go back to his clan, and that she would have to go back to hers, but for now neither of them would have to worry about that. They were together. And as long as they had each other, they didn't have to worry about what anyone else thought.
The faint scent of two-leg made the pair slow down, and Jay frowned and twitched his nose. "It's old, so we're ok." The male had forgotten about the loner territories sometimes having two-legs, as they were closer to the two-leg place. The clan territories were far enough away that the tall pale creatures didn't usually cause a problem. But there was something else happening too. Jaydust hadn't noticed before, but the further away he walked from the thick forest the darker it became. He didn't spare a glance at the sun itself, but a quick look around alerted him that something was off. "The sun's light is fading, why?" Throughout the land, birds and prey began to fall silent, and Jay flattened his ears and felt his fur start to bristle. "Is it Starclan? Or has this naturally happened before?" He noticed Bramble started to looked worried and he turned to her, his gaze softening. "It's ok. It's going to pass. I'm sure of it." He told her gently. Jay then gently nosed the top of her head with his muzzle before wondering if that was too forward. He was sure that she felt the same way about him as he felt about her, yet fear of rejection still lingered at the back of his mind.

Closing her eyes when he nosed the top of her head with his muzzle she reopened her gaze at his words and nodded “Y-yeah if the sun was there before, it should come back” that was what any logical wolf would say right? Although underneath it all she was extremely worried about it, so instead of letting herself feel that she took a deep breath and focused on the dark male beside her. Cheekily sticking her nose in his ear to make him laugh, her nose cold against his warm skin, they were here to be together and to have fun not to have to worry about anyone other than themselves. Grinning cheekily at him she lifted a paw and pushed him over before turning and dashing up the slopes of the glades, she'd never been on ground so steep before and thus it was quite tough going for the female. Reaching the top and panting like she'd run a marathon, Bramblerose grinned at Jaydust “Slowpoke! You can't catch me” indeed the wolf was more Pixieflight than Bramblerose at this very moment. Her brown eyes sparkled and a crooked cheeky smile was spread over her muzzle, despite the lack of sun the she wolf shone with a bright happiness she hadn't had in moons. She loved him, and she knew it, it seemed that he loved her too, and that simple knowledge was enough for her at this moment, if they admitted it today to one another she'd go back to Nightstar and tell him she was leaving for Thunderclan, she'd ask to be renamed as Pixiewing. She belonged with Jaydust, like she'd belonged with no one else before, attempting to dash off once he got too close, her thoughts were happy and carefree, she was at peace with the world and for now loved life, loved these moments with him, loved the burly black thunderclan wolf. Her body spoke for her, her smile, her eyes her body language yelling happily that she loved him

Minkfur followed the scents until they became stronger and stronger, soon leaving behind the fog. Sighing in relief and savoring the ability to see clearly, she moved on. She was mighty suspicious and angry, though- why would Bramblerose run off with some ThunderClanner? Minkfur hoped the warrior had a good explanation. It'd have to be enough to convince the warrior not to say anything to Nightstar. Minkfur believed strongly in the Warrior Code- it enraged her to think that one of her closest friends could possibly be breaking it. 'Especially since it was most likely a ThunderClanner that killed Pandamask...' she bitterly thought, swiping her tongue across her fangs which itched to tear into her murderer's flesh. Upon hearing voices ahead, Minkfur moved into a patch of wildflowers, rolling in them to disguise her scent. She then crept forward, keeping hidden under one of the pine trees as she spotted her clanmate... and the unknown ThunderClan wolf. She was tempted to leap out of her hiding place- however, she stood still and silent, watching the two and trying to piece together what was going on.

Thrushheart headed after Minkfur and was somewhat surprised when they left ShadowClan territory and entered the unfamiliar. The only time he'd ever ventured out of Clan land was when the Clans had traveled to the new forest. Even then, he never been here before. It was quite interesting to be in a new place. Thrushheart was also glad that the fog didn't reach here. It was nice to have a break from it and the irritating feeling it caused him. He put his thoughts aside for the moment and focused on the situation at hand: finding Bramblerose. Thrushheart paused when he heard some wolves speaking just beyond, and watched as Minkfur rolled about in some flowers. He quickly guessed that it was to disguise her scent and he followed suit, making sure he was also out of view. In the dim light he was able to spot Bramblerose along with an unfamiliar wolf, undoubtedly the ThunderClanner. He felt rather awkward watching the two of them frolic about, and instead shifted his gaze. Perhaps he should have just gone back to camp instead of going along with Minkfur, but his curiosity had gotten the best of him. Thrushheart personally didn't care that much about the rules and it didn't bother him that one of his Clanmates might be breaking the Warrior Code, if it was what it looked like and Bramblerose was actually meeting with someone from ThunderClan. If someone really cared about a wolf, did it honestly matter which Clan they were in? It shouldn't, he thought. He gave a glance to Minkfur to see if she was going to act on the situation or wait, uncertain how they should proceed.

Jay grinned as Bramble perked up again, stumbling him before scampering off. "Hey!"He yipped, regaining his paws and bounding after her. "I'll get you for that, Pixie!" The wind was picking up and brought scents of faraway places mixed with grass, heather, and cold mountain smells. The rolling hills were not unlike Windclan's territory, and the slopes were great for a long run. The male hurtled forward, hanging his tongue out of his mouth in a joyous manner. He couldn't remember the last time he'd been having so much fun, and the sun's disappearance combined with the worry of his clanmates back at home seemed to vanish into the thin air as he trotted after Bramblerose. She reached the top and turned back at him, eyes flickering impishly as she teased him for being a slowpoke. "I'll make you eat those words." He thought, launching himself up the hill. The ground was steep and Jaydust felt his muscles begin to ache on the uneven terrain that surrounded him. Still, his powerful hind legs propelled him forward and he leaped at the she-wolf, knocking her over lightly. "Got you!" He woofed triumphantly, standing over her and grinning down. She was adorable when playful, and out of impulse he dipped his head and nuzzled her fur affectionately, but then pulled back smiling sheepishly and blushing.

Giggling when he cried out after her, the red hued female kept dashing forward, however she found that she was knocked down and was pinned underneath the larger wolf, just laughing up at him when he triumphantly informed her that she had been caught by him, Bramblerose just smiled up at him. Feeling her ears grow warm when he nuzzled into her red fur, she reached up with her muzzle when he pulled back and licked his nose proceeding to lick his muzzle as well before nuzzling into his thick fur. She liked the way the black male smelled, it made her feel safe, smiling up at the brute Pixie had literally no idea that she was being watched by two of her clan mates. Right now the only thing in her world was the black thunderclan male, Jaydust, who’d brought out what pixie was left in her and helped it grow into what she should have been. Wriggling out from underneath him she scrambled to her paws and shook out her thick red fur with a sigh, it was so nice here, they were free of the ban of what they felt for one another. Remembering when she’d first met him, the females brown gaze dropped to her paws. They’d skipped a gathering and accidentally come across one another at the border, he’d always had something that had just clicked with her. She didn’t know what she’d do if something happened to him, lifting her head to study Jaydust she spoke quietly “You have to promise that you wont go missing or die, My mother died, and my fathers gone missing, Jaydust promise me you wont do that to me, please” she stared at him quietly with her brown eyes that had thawed and become soft and loving. He had to be okay, he just had to be, once she had his response she stepped forward and nuzzled her features into the thick fur that grew around the males neck. She murmured softly “I want to be with you, enough that I’ll leave shadowclan” realizing that her words might be too forward Pixie pulled back and studied him quietly her emotions shown so clearly in her gaze. A slight almost wariness as if she was worried he’d not want that, or that he’d reject her.

He felt his fur grow hot as she nuzzled into his thick pelt. The feeling of being with her here was almost surreal, as if it were only a dream and he would wake up at any moment. Jay stepped back and grinned when she stood back upright again, and gazed into him fondly. What she next said was surprising, her look becoming more sober as she spoke. Giving her a playful nudge, Jaydust smiled. "I promise, as long as you promise you won't go missing or die either. But don't worry, I don't plan on going anywhere anytime soon." He tilted his head, and closed his eyes as Bramble cuddled into his fur. It was such a warm feeling being close to her, as if nothing could ever bring him down or harm him ever again. The sky may have been dark, but Jay felt nothing but light in his heart, and not a thing in the world could take those feelings away.
At Bramblerose's next words, Jaydust opened his eyes and stared at her, surprise clear in his gaze. "You...You would really do that for me?" He asked her, his soul filling with a new kind of joy. His eyes lit up at her suggestion, and he couldn't believe that she would actually do that for him. "Oh Pixie! I...I just don't know what to say!" The male felt like a pup again, and he could just howl his glee out to the world. Giving her an enthusiastic grin, he playfully leaped at her again, pure ecstasy in his heart.

He replied, asking that she promised as well, dipping her head Pixie replied softly “I promise Jaydust, I wont go anywhere” The surprise on his features when she murmured in his ear that she would give up being in shadowclan for him, was worth it all. Nodding in response to his question Pixiewing spoke again “Yes, I would leave Shadowclan to join thunderclan to be with you” She replied, he didn’t need to say anything right now, all she cared about was being with him and the consequences of them being together like this didn’t even matter to her. They belonged together, and would be together, eventually they’d have pups and raise them as full Thunderclan warriors. She wasn’t sure how Rosestar would take her however, the red female was sure she could do anything as long as her love was there with her. So transfixed by the happiness that surely lay in her future, her brown eyes glittered with love for the male, she’d never really thought that she’d have happiness again, that she was doomed to be cold and on her own for the rest of her days. Somehow she’d been lucky enough to have met Jaydust, there wasn’t a single part of him that she didn’t love, from his quiet spoken self to the way his name rolled off of her tongue. Laughing as he leapt at her she didn’t bother getting in the way and allowed the big black Thunderclan warrior to pin her once again. Giggling infectiously, it was sweet and somewhat cheeky, nuzzling into him unable to help the fact that she wanted to snuggle with him and not move for hours, Pixiewing began formulating a plan on how she’d move to Thunderclan. She’d most likely go find Nightstar, tell him what she thought of him, and add she was leaving for thunderclan then split and run incase he decided he wouldn’t let her leave. Blinking and coming back to the moment she looked up at Jaydust, her Jaydust and felt shy at the look of love that was so clearly on his face. How she wanted this moment to stay forever, reaching up she licked his nose and muzzle again before deciding she had to tell him the name of the emotion that brought warmth to her heart “Thank you, Jaydust, I never thought I’d feel happiness like this again, I love you, so much” she was so lucky to have him, so lucky to not be alone, and then the moment of happiness that had grown around the pair was shattered by a gun shot.

The handsome male pinning her jerked and then collapsed pinning her properly with his limp weight, unaware that she screamed his name so loudly it echoed, Bramblerose scrambled out from underneath him and looked over him finding there was a red hole where something had passed through him. She didn’t know it but the bullet had passed through both lungs and narrowly missed his heart severing an artery or two, licking the wound fiercely trying to stop the bleeding, blood gushed out from his mouth gagging him so he couldn’t speak. In a blind panic she did everything she could and yet before her eyes the love of her life passed on, her face was wet with tears while she spoke hurriedly “No no no no no no, you promised me, you PROMISED me Jaydust that you wouldn’t leave me, don’t leave me please… please” her last two words were when her voice broke, crouching down beside him and not caring that the human was still around, Bramblerose and Pixiedust both selves that had grown within her over the years wailed. The heart-breaking wail like how was eerie, filled with the type of grief that no wolf should ever have to suffer through, everything had been going so well, they were going to become a family, they were supposed to have a happily ever after. The pain that spread throughout the young warriors body felt like her heart had been ripped form her chest, and her insides were set on fire that burned her alive.

Wanting nothing more to die along with her beloved, the wolf she’d seriously considered to be her soulmate, Pixie continued to crouch over him a broken sobbing tearing from her while odd words continued to be dragged out of her “You promised me, Jaydust, please wake up, wake up for me, I need you, need you so much, don't go, don't leave me alone in the dark” even now she could feel the warmth start to leave his body, curling close to him trying to keep him warm just incase he magically awoke the red female begged starclan, her mother, grandfather and father to bring him back to her. Just this once couldn’t they let this happen to her? To heal his wounds like they would a leader and bring him back, what was she going to do without him? That empty place where her heart had been only minutes ago was like a raw pulsing wound, trembling while bile rose in her throat burning her as it did so. How was it that only a while ago he’d been playing with her? And now… alone, cold, empty. Lost in her misery she was completely unaware that anyone else was there, when she eventually was able to move without screaming, she nuzzled into him one last time. “I’ll take you home, to your clan so they can guide you to starclan okay? Visit me Jaydust, you have to promise you’ll visit me. I don’t want to be alone, especially without you” his pixie was dying rapidly within her, the bright flower in her soul he’d managed to cultivate and revive after what had happened after she’d been apprenticed was already starting to wilt and die.

The happiness now a memory and a painful cold feeling adding itself to the myriad of pain she was enduring, brown eyes were dark and filled with a hollow grief, it was starting to grow dark. She had to get him home, softly sobbing still, she gathered herself up again, mentally collecting the broken pieces of herself that Jaydust had glued back together and yet with his murder had been smashed once again. Jaydust, her Jaydust was gone and now she was forever alone in the cold cruel world. Even now she didn’t feel anger, too much in shock, that would come later once the wound ached a little less, picking him up and struggling a little with his weight, Bramblerose who could have been Pixiewing had the two-leg not intervened turned and began carrying him as best as she could back to where he called home.

Minkfur watched with rage and irritation as the two wolves frolicked about, her ears flat against her head and her fur bristling. This wasn't allowed- the Warrior Code forbid it! Her love would get in the way of her loyalty to the clan! Besides, Nightstar had a hatred for ThunderClan, anyways! The thought caused the she-wolf to shudder; the leader couldn't find out about this. Bramblerose's punishment would be harsh- his fury would be almost outright unimaginable. Minkfur, too, was displeased with her choice. How could she knowingly fall in love with him when a ThunderClan wolf killed Pandamask? 'I'm gonna have to talk to her about this...'
The wolf was about to make her presence known until a loud bang rattled through the air, causing Minkfur to finch with a small yelp. Lifting her head, her eyes widened upon seeing the unknown male collapse, bleeding and unmoving. "StarClan above...!" she muttered, before nudging Thrushheart. "We gotta get out of here..." She looked back towards Bramblerose, hesitating for a moment. Should she help her take the body of her lover back to ThunderClan...? After a pause, the she-wolf decided against it. She didn't want the scent of the male on her when she returned to camp- Nightstar would be livid. "Bramlerose will be fine. Let's go," she barked before leaving her hiding place, breaking out into a run back into ShadowClan territory. Upon arriving, she gathered the prey they caught before hurrying back to the camp.

The White Glades Empty
PostSubject: Re: The White Glades   The White Glades I_icon_minitimeFri Sep 01, 2017 11:05 pm

Smiling with pure joy, Jaydust bent down and nuzzled her fur, feeling pure waves of warmth fill his heart. It was a type of happiness one could never describe, and the male felt he could just lay there forever, soaking up the light in her gaze and the happiness that rolled off her beautiful silky pelt. He briefly recalled when they had first met, they had both been younger and much less happy. Pixieflight, as she had been then called, was a forlorn and bitter warrior, hiding behind a mask of cheerfulness that was an illusion. She managed to fool most wolves around her, but the façade had not worked on himself, and he had been able to pull out the deep thoughts that had been troubling her heart. Then, like a spring flower when the ice thawed, she bloomed. Her inner self glowing with unprecedented light and beauty, her heart opening itself and attaching on to his own. They were not two anymore, but one. And they would stay like that forever, holding onto each other for support and affection. Jaydust felt his tail began to wag as Pixie repeated her words of staying with him. She was his and he was hers, and Jay was completely ready to spend the rest of his life with her.
And then she said it. She said the words that he had been aching to tell her for so long, that she loved him. Her gentle brown gaze was full of affection, and as Jay gazed down, he felt that he could get lost in her glimmering eyes. He smiled, "Pixie..., I-" The word 'love' was on his lips when the shot rang out.

How strange it is, that everything you've built up in your life can be shattered in a fleeting instance. Years of hard work and love can put something together, yet within a moment it can change completely, fragmenting a bond that seemed inseparable only a second before. Jaydust felt the pain strike his chest. Something hard and metallic that stabbed straight through his skin and bones, lodging it's way close to his heart. Feeling all the strength leave his body, the male plummeted down, collapsing onto the she-wolf beneath him. "Wha-wha..." His eyes widened and he gasped out a breath, choking on his own blood that was beginning to rise up in his throat. Bramblerose let out a scream and quickly began to her best to heal him, but it was all in vain.
Opening his muzzle, he attempted to speak but no words came out, only an awful gaging sound. The world began to spin and crash around him, and Jay felt his own body going numb. There were no thoughts of pain or fear, just shock that couldn't seem to register in his brain. He let out a slow, shaky breath, his eyes focusing on Bramblerose who cried out before him. He could no longer hear her words, but just the sight of her stirred something pleasant in his mind. "Pixie....." The corners of his mouth folded up faintly, and he stared up at her, no longer any feeling in his body. The edges of his vision grew dark, and Jaydust sighed one final breath, succumbing to the blackness.

-.-- --- ..- / -.-. .- .-.. .-..
/ --- ..- - / ..-. --- .-. / .... . .-.. .--.

There was no sound. There was no sensation. There was no anything except the hard, cold ground that lay beneath his paws. Jaydust opened his eyes and immediately stood up with a start. The world around him had changed into a one of deep shadows, cutting and creeping their way forward as if reaching out to him. There was no escaping from this cruel fate, and as realization dawned on him, he felt a weight sinking in his chest, his heart filling with dread.

Fasten asleepness, dreams of nothingness troubled the white she wolf with her three black pawsies, snuggled into the golden solsie it wasn't the gunshot that roused her but the pain ridden screams coming from a wolf. Opening bright yellow eyes and a grin that slipped onto her face the maggot got up and wandered out of the densie to observens the situation, from her vantage point she spotted the brambled rose, a dusted jay, minky furred and heart of a thrush. Wondering why three shadowclan wolvsies and one thundery clan was here, she soon figured out what was going on and it made her cackle. Naughty Naughty brambled rose, elicit love with a thundery clan wolfin tut tut tut the night stars would be furiousones with her, but it seemed that a two legsie that she'd sniffered out before had struck and killed the dusted jay. The others soon left leaving her alone once again with her sol, looking back at him she presented a grin "Solsie should rise! there are mischiefs and tricksies about to do!" crowing excitedly the white thick furred she wolf bounced down the slippery slopes rather excitedly looking forward to playing tricks and the like with her Solsthiem. She hadn't made up her mind until she reached the bottom, the wind was blowing towards her the smells of one who had recently been on shadowclan landsies and naturally the cheshire grinsies was more than eager to play some gamsies

Flickering his ears at the sounds of the gunshots, the golden male had stayed put, curled up safely with his Chessie. Nosing her ears gently when she bounded up, he yawned and stretched, staying where he was until the little three legs came slipsliding down the slope again. He was amused at her words, and agreed with her instnatly, getting to her feet with a shake of his thick pelt. “Little pupsie can mischief makes on her owns. The gold one shall be huntings elsewheres for his and her foodsies.” He nudged her side as she bounded off, and scouted around the trees, seeing if he could find something to hunt. It seemed that the gunshot had scared a lot of the prey off, but they were slowly coming back now, so he was sure he'd be able to find something.
