First topic message reminder :

Located near Dried River, it stands on a cliff like area. Inside there is a cave with tunnels. The Elders, Deputy, Warriors, Queens(+pups), Medicine wolf, Apprentices, Deputy and Leader all have separate dens down different tunnels. The Leader's den, however, is outside the cave in a Separate Cave that you need to climb to get to; it is a little above the main Clan camp's entrance. The Leader typically holds meetings from a lightly lower ledge under their den.

Specklefrost let out a soft whine when she felt her pup being moved away from her. Said whine turned into a growl, her ears flattening. As ordered, the wolf lifted her head, fighting the drowsiness that was overtaking her, and gladly accepting the warmth. Glancing towards the vaguely familiar wolf, Specklefrost hesitated, closing her eyes for a moment and recalling what had happened to her other two pups. "D..Dead... Darkpup survived... Blackpup s-starved... Littlepup... Taken by an eagle... Tried to s-save her... Wasn't fast enough... Too weak... Long gone, long gone..." she whispered, resting her head on her paws. "Darkpup is all I h-have left... M-Must protect him..." she the growled, eyeing the frail pup. She then blinked and looked around, sniffing the air. It seemed all too familiar. "Wh..Where am I? Who are you two?" she asked, glancing towards the wolf that smelled strongly of herbs.

Stoatblaze let out a sigh of relief when he finally reached the camp cave. The blizzard had really picked up on the way there, and his orange-tan fur was now completely white. He shook the snow out of his pelt and hurried into the camp, thankful to be out of the storm. I can't believe it's already snowing. It was still Greenleaf! He shook his head, uncertain what to make of it all. The senior warrior took a seat near the edges of the cave and decided that he'd ask Willowmist for her thoughts about the situation when she reentered the cave. Does she think that SkyClan actually exists? he also wondered. He hadn't realized that Specklefrost and Darkpup had returned, too bewildered by all that was happening to notice.

Pinedusk was freezing by the time he finally reached the camp. His short WindClan fur wasn't made for snowstorms. He quickly headed back into the camp after shaking out his pelt, happy to be out of the deteriorating weather. As he entered he realized that his family was by the camp entrance, so he sat down next to them. He was still shivering and was very cold. I wouldn't be surprised if someone told me I'd been turned to ice, he thought, before glancing towards Gentleheart and their pups. "T-That snow sure is s-something," he said, stammering a bit. He smiled down at the pups before looking to Gentleheart, his expression darkening. "W-We ran into s-some loners when we were out," he said, dropping his voice to a whisper. At the thought of the patrol, he gave a quick look around the camp to see if Galepaw had returned. He couldn't see the apprentice from where he was sitting, however, and hoped that he had gone into the apprentices' den. If Galepaw had gotten lost out in that blizzard... he didn't want to dwell too long on the thought.

The creamy hued medicine wolf continued to warm up the grey nursing mother, half by listening to what she had to say Sunheart just shook her head "You needn't worry about Darkpup, Heatherfrost there is an experienced mother and will keep him warm until you're able to yourself" when she was asked whom she was, she kept her reservations to herself. Specklefrost had been through some traumatic events, she would regain her memory shortly once she was warmed up and had some food in her. "I'm Sunheart the medicine wolf, Ashfall is outside the den and peachpup and Mistypup are doing very well they are likely to be made apprentices soon" doing her best to remind Specklefrost of her family in Sunclan she sighed softly to herself. She wasn't sure what Riverstar would say about all of this, naturally it was up to the red male whether or not she was allowed back into the clan. She couldn't see there being any issues the leader was quite jovial and relaxed most of the time. She could feel Speckle's body start to react to the warmth around her, thankfully there didn't seem to be any frostbite on Speckle or Dark so that made her job easier.

Gentleheart was not surprised at Peachpup's harsh words. Actually Mistypup surprised her the most but she wondered if she was just saying that to be nice. As she saw her pups leave the medicine den along with Sunheart she had mentally started to prepare an apology to the medicine wolf. But when Sunheart had told her they were a big help by sorting the herbs. She smiled at her pups and gave them both a good lick around their ears. She was just about to respond to Lightningpup and then praise the both of them when white stuff started falling from the sky. As it came closer she noticed that it was snow. Gentleheart was so confused it was suppose to be greenleaf. Panic was starting to make its way upon her face. Her pups were still too little to survive this. She started to make her way to the nursey quickly. "Pebblepup, Lightningpup back to the nursery, now." She said in a strict tone that wasnt up for debate. She needed to get to the nursery and start to keep her pups warm. As she entered the nursery she saw Peachpup. She knew that he didn't like her but she wasnt gonna let him and his sister freeze. Though she knew she would get some protest from the other pups she laid down around the two of them. "Look i know you don't like me but its snowing and its gonna get really cold. Until your father or Heatherfrost comes back im going to lay here. My pups will be joining as well." She told them. All of them would be able to keep each other warmer. When Pinedusk told her about the loners, dhe shook her head. "What more could be going on here. I wonder if starclan is angry with us. Pinedusk lay here and help keep all the pups warm will you. This unexpected snowing is very worrisome. The clan isnt prepared for this." She said voicing her concerns to her mate. She hoped that whatever this was would pass quickly.

Oakstream arrived and he felt like his paw pads were frozen. He noticed that everyone was looking a little confused and he hoped that Riverstar got in control of things soon. That had four pups and a nursing queen that if not kept warm and fed the new generation of sunclan eould be wiped out. He hoped that this wasnt going to last long. He had no idea if the clan could survive something so drastic when they were so unprepared.

Specklefrost returned her gaze to Darkpup, looking over his thin, once strong body. Her ears swiveled, flattening against her head. The poor pup had been through so much, growing extremely close with his brother, and sharing a strong love for his younger sister. He may have seemed tough, but he was a softie. Too good-natured to have to go through such trauma. With a soft sigh, she looked back towards Heatherfrost, tilting her head. Slowly, memories came along back to her. "The others," she muttered, lifting her head. "Peachpup and M..Mistypup... They'll b-be apprentices? ... How h-have they been? Who's been t-taking care of th...them?" she whined, shivering as feeling began seeping back into her body, replacing the awful numbness. At the mention of her mate, she let out a small whine. "Ashfall... He's... Okay, isn't he...? D-Doing alright?" Specklefrost murmured, tilting her head. She knew he'd want an explanation for her disappearance. She debated whether or not to tell him- he'd be angry. Others would be angrier. She wasn't even sure if she'd be welcomed back afterwards. Then again, would she care? She'd drift off. Ashfall would be fine- he deserved a better mate. She could join a different clan, or join some far-off pack. Her pups would thrive without her, wouldn't they? Her decisions led to the death of two of her own. 'Perhaps StarClan had punished me for leaving my family and clan...' she thought, sighing and resting her head on her paws.

Galepaw had gotten lost on his way back to camp and ended up running in circle for a while only to end up playing with the snowflakes that had started to fall. However once they had started to come down a bit harder it had sent him scrambling again seeking the camp. By the time he arrived he had fallen into a ditch filled with snow and was drenched to the bone with his fur matted into clumps while the storm raged around them. He couldn't see all that well as he entered the camp and ran into Riverstars forlegs sending the small apprentice over onto his tail. He lifted a paw up to rub his eyes before peering up at his mentor and he shrunk down when he saw just who it was. "H-h-hi R-Ri-Riverstar." he stuttered out as he shook in front of his leader, "I g-g-got lo-lost."

Seeing a dark shape bounding through the snow, Riverstar was told exactly who it was when they ran straight into him. Swiping his tongue very quickly over the youngster's ears, the red male nudged the apprentice inside. “No matter, you're safe now. Go find Willowmist. She'll warm you up.” He had to stay outside to make sure that everyone else was all back and safe. Doing a mental tally, he worked out who was safe inside, and therefore who was still missing. All five pups were inside, Galepaw was inside, the queens were inside with their mates, his mother was likely busy with the newly found pup too. Glad that the new generation was safe he ran through the adults. He'd seen Oakstream pass by, same with Pinedusk and Ashfall. Willowmist was there too, and Stoatblaze. The leader hadn't seen Jasperpaw or his sister recently, but they hadn't been placed on a patrol, so he could only assume that they were both inside and safe from the cold. Rainheart seemed to be the only one not accounted for, so he shook the snow off his back and stayed outside, wanting to be sure that his clan was safe.

He'd heard enough and had headed for the nursery and entering just after Gentleheart in time to hear her words, he nodded in silent thanks to her before moving over to his two precious pups and curled around them firmly. Using his thick fur to keep them nice and warm, he'd thought she'd been dead for so long now, and suddenly she'd returned he wasn't quite sure how he felt about all of this. Closing his amber eyes the handsome mexican wolf sighed softly, he wasn't sure he could forgive Specklefrost, she'd left him and two of their pups and had gotten another two killed. Knowing the two she'd abandoned as well as he did, he knew that Peachpup would be very grumpy and outspoken against it all, he'd appeared to have decided that Heatherfrost was okay and was unlikely to change his mind on that. Licking the ginger pup gently, he nuzzled Mistypup afterwards, she' was passionate about her family so the blue-grey pup would likely try to keep the family together. It was the way she was, despite her tough ways, he cared so very deeply about the pair of them, however it seemed that Darkpup had no idea who he even was, which didn't surprise him. He curled up a little tighter around his pups trying to figure out what he should do, perhaps he'd talk with Heatherfrost a little later, she had experience with being left by a mate for a stupid reason. Yes that was a good solution, she had a good head on her shoulders and experience, he for now allowed himself to start to drift off to sleep hoping when he woke up that the snow would be gone.

PostSubject: Re: SunClan Camp   Thu Aug 24, 2017 12:14 pm

Curled around the blue-grey hued wolf, Sunheart was relieved when the female began to shiver showing that she was starting to warm up. Keeping warmly wrapped about her using her thick fur to keep her warm, Sunheart continued to lap at Specklefrosts heavy fur until the worst of the wet was out. The female was in shocking condition, skinny and with her pelt in bad condition. From what she'd seen of Darkpup he was just in just as bad condition, not that pleased at all she managed to keep her words to herself until Specklefrost spoke again. Her usual kind nature was over powered by an angry part of her that would have given anything to have pups, and yet this female had callously thrown two lives away. “They would have done better if their mother and mate had stayed with them” that was all she said on the matter, it was not her place to judge she was just the medicine wolf her job was to keep quiet and tend the wounded. She'd had to watch how heartbroken Ashfall had been over the disappearance, and had watched how his pups had coped, Peachpup had internalized most of it and so came across as a cross patch.

The creamy medicine wolf looked over at Darkpup, and kept an eye on him, eventually Specklefrost was warm enough, so she got up and nodded at Heatherfrost to let Darkpup go back to his mother “You and Darkpup will stay in the medicine den until your weight is better” with that she left them in the medicine den and soon returned with two small bits of prey they would have to increase their eating over several weeks for if they had a big meal right away they'd just be sick. Setting the prey infront of the pair of them she studied Speckle and quickly picked up that she was no longer lactating due to her poor body condition, it was good then that Misty and Peach didn't drink milk. They'd grown so much in character and personality, she remembered faintly that experiences were what made you who you were, if so then Peachpup was going to be a handful. Moving to sit back at her herbs she almost felt like crying in distress, her herb plants were going to be destoyed in this blizzard, she'd have to go to Windclan or Shadowclan for help and she was reluctant to go anywhere near Nightstar, so Windclan and Ashfrost it was, sighing she knew she' have to wait for the snow to abate.

The half frozen apprentice didn't need much encouragement from Riverstar as he started into the caves. "O-ok R-r-river-s-s-star." he replied to his mentor only pausing standing the entrance and glance back at his mentor briefly hoping he would be ok. He was cold and stiff as he made his way in slowly swinging his head around to try and find the senior warrior he was to go to. Spotting her the spotted male began to make his way over to her side but the cold made his progress so slow that he knew she would see him before he would reach her side.

Specklefrost flattened her ears after the medicine wolf's response. Resting her head on her paws, she let out a soft sigh. 'I'm such a fool... Ashfall won't forgive me... I doubt the clan will... Nor my pups... I left them to protect myself and Little, Black, and Dark, yet I failed so miserably...I didn't even think about how Ashfall and the others would be... Whatever punishment comes next, I deserve it,' she mused to herself, closing her eyes with a sigh. When Darkpup crawled over to her, she nuzzled into his fur softly, licking him thankfully before furrowing her brows. "D-Darkpup... We're home now... You'll b-be safe here, with y-your father and siblings..." she murmured, looking him over. She then frowned slightly at the meager amount of food- yet she knew it wouldn't be the wisest to eat too much after starving for so long. With a relieved woof, Specklefrost ate her share, looking over Darkpup as he devoured his own. She then glanced towards Sunheart, dipping her head. "Th-Thank you..." she murmured quietly.

Satisfied that the pup was beginning to warm up, the red female glanced over at his mother, giving a gentle nod at Sunheart's words. Picking up the little thing, she deposited him gently with his mother, nudging him closer to her and the small meal, and watched fondly for a moment before getting to her feet. Now that she was no longer required to stay and help, she could go and check on her son, and on Mistypup and Peachpup to see that they were all okay. Padding out, she stuck her nose outside and sighed, spotting the dark red leader. Knowing that it would be no use asking him to come in before he was sure that everyone else was safely inside, she simply nuzzled him gently and padded back inside, peeking in the nursery. Pleased that Ashfall was curled around his pups, the gentle motherly female found a place near Willowmist that was out of the way, lying down and curling her tail around her. They were going to have to wait out the snowstorm, but if it lasted too long, then tempers were going to fray at being stuck inside. It was a good thing that Riverstar wasn't one to lose his temper. The clan was going to need his good nature to mediate between them all.

She had been huddling into Lightningpup's fur, the bitter wind chilling her small pup body. At her mother's orders, the she-pup stepped after her, more then happy to go back into the warm nursery. Her mother's tone worried Pebblepup, as she had never heard her quite so strict before. "Maybe the cold stuff is bad after all." Her parents definitely didn't seem to like it. And though it was pretty, Pebble didn't like the frosty feeling either. Padding after the she-wolf, the pup entered the nursery and sat down next to her mother, cuddling into her soft fur. Peachpup was already inside but Pebble didn't really acknowledge him, though she did feel concern about how he felt. "Isn't he cold? Where's his dad to warm him?" Her mother mentioned about them all warming up together, and Pebble thought that was a good idea.
Suddenly, Pebblepup felt her nose begin to tickle. "Ach-Achoo!" She let out a puppy sneeze and licked her nose, still feeling the tickling. Nuzzling her snout into Gentleheart's fur, she tried to stifle her sneezing.

Pinedusk followed Gentleheart into the nursery, lying down next to her and the pups when she told him to. "I hope StarClan isn't angry with us," he replied to her comment. He was shivering less now that he was sheltered from the blizzard that raged outside.  "I'm not sure what to make of the sudden snowfall." He frowned a little after he said this, recalling how the loners had mentioned something about 'SkyClan's revenge.' "We probably shouldn't tell everyone else this yet, but," he started, dropping his voice to a whisper, "the loners talked about a fifth Clan, one called SkyClan. I've never heard of it before. They seemed to hint that the blizzard was revenge because the other Clans threw SkyClan out of the forest or something like that." He doubted that Gentleheart had heard of this supposed Clan either, but still wanted to let her know about it. He was about to say more on the subject when he heard Pebblepup sneeze and he gave a worried glance in her direction. "Pebblepup wasn't out in the snow, was she?" he asked, looking back to Gentleheart.

Lightningpup looked on with curiosity when Pebblepup stepped out of the camp cave and into the world that lay beyond. He couldn't wait for the day when he'd be allowed to explore it all. He wasn't certain if they were allowed outside and he gave a quick glance up at Gentleheart to see if she was watching. Before he could follow his sister out, however, something fluffy and white began to fall out of the sky, and shortly afterwards some wolves arrived with two strangers, one of them being a pup. He tilted his head with confusion, uncertain which situation was more surprising.

He was debating whether or not he should head outside when Gentleheart told them both to get back to the nursery. Her voice was stern and the pup knew that there'd be no arguing with her. Pouting slightly, he made his way toward the nursery and lay down next to Gentleheart and Pebblepup, giving a glance up at his father when he arrived from whatever it was he had been doing. A patrol, or something like that. He perked his ears when his parents began to speak, hearing them talk about something called 'snow.' That must have been the fluffy white stuff. "What was the snow like?" he asked Pebblepup, recalling how she'd been out while it was falling from the sky.

Jasperpaw had been thinking about his apprenticeship when he happened to glance out of the cave. To his great surprise, it was now snowing. But how? It had been relatively warm earlier in the day, and it was still greenleaf. How could it snow when it was greenleaf? He glanced down at Tourmaline, who had apparently fallen asleep. "Tourm, wake up," he said, prodding her with a paw. "It's snowing. It looks like a blizzard," he added after giving it another look. "How can it be snowing?" He winced slightly at her annoyed response, but before he could say anything else he spotted Ashfall carrying in a pup, followed by a familiar wolf who looked like she was in really bad shape. It took him awhile to remember that her name was Specklefrost; he recalled that she'd gone missing some moons prior. It seemed like Sunheart was tending to them for now. He glanced back outside when he realized how dark it had gotten, but was unsure if that was just because of the blizzard or because of some other reason.

Tourmaline grumbled as she felt someone poking her with a paw and opened her eyes. Who was the mouse-brain who decided to wake her up? Lifting her head, she saw that it was her brother. She shot him an irritated look. "You woke me up just to tell me that?" The cattle dog flicked her ears. "How should I know why it's snowing? We live in the mountains. I guess it just snows early sometimes," she muttered. She did have to admit that the snowstorm was atypical, but she figured it would be over soon. The sun would probably melt the snow right afterwards. "Don't wake me up this time," she added as she rested her head back on her paws and closed her eyes.

Rainheart's gaze flicked to the camp entrance when she spotted the patrols returning. She also noticed that it had begun to snow. Even though SunClan resided in the mountains, snowfall in greenleaf was almost unheard of. Does this mean we're going to have a tough leafbare? She certainly hoped not. She stood up onto her paws and stretched before walking over to Oakstream. In the recent moons she found that she rather enjoyed his company. He was funny and pleasant to be around. "How did the patrol go?" she asked, sitting down next to him. She wasn't aware if he had been on the hunting patrol or the border patrol, so she phrased her question in a way that would work for either. It was at this point that she noticed Specklefrost and a pup enter the camp; she was quite surprised by their return. She hoped that Sunheart would be able to heal them both, as they seemed underfed and exhausted. After a few moments Rainheart turned her focus back to Oakstream, waiting for the warrior's response.
