First topic message reminder :

It is really like the opposite of its namesake. Rather marshy with quicksand and stunted trees. It is easy to lose a scent here, and also easy to get lost in the mist that rolls in rather quickly once the sun begins to set and dusk arrives.

Thoroughly ignoring the other wolves, two of which finally left, a gleam appeared in the young wolf's eyes at the brown wolf's arrogance. Amused at Steel's words, the killer just snorted, not offended in the slightest. “A pup has no place in the fighting ring Steel, you should know that.” Speaking of which. He glanced down at Claire, tapping her side. “Which ones are a threat here, blacky?” She usually had a good handle on what was a threat and what wasn't, and he was there to back her up should any of the idiots try to hurt her. Grinning at FF's decision, he was sorely tempted to trail along to watch. Any fight that the white dog got into was interesting to watch, and with these stuck up pack wolves, it was just going to be plain entertaining. Yawning, his teeth flashed wickedly in the dim mist, his black coat easily blending in so that he wavered in and out of sight without even trying. He wasn't going to stay much longer, depending on what his fellow fighters decided to do. Claire wouldn't be going well in this mist, and he wanted to take her back to the sea since she enjoyed it so much. “Teaching pups won't have kept you in practice Steel. How's that fighting skill going then?” The wicked gleam was still in his eyes, and he scratched the deep scar that went across his face. Steel had given him that one, along with a multitude of others, but it had only garnered respect for the older fighter, especially once the two legs had decided that they were both too valuable to pit against each other any more.

Nightstar trotted back up missing Killians words as he had been to far away to hear them speak. He dipped his head biting the tip of Blackwidows tail sharply in warning that she needed to get moving as he pushed past her form that had not moved since he left. He didn't speak as he re-emerged from the mist with his face blank but his eyes found Dragonsteels with ease as an ear flickered around listening. "A female." He told the grey male giving him some information on who had howled. He would give more once they had returned to camp but so far it seemed that they didn't want to move.

Shadows of the Night

Black dark shadows of the night,
across the sleeping earth they creep,
slithering and crawling, they obscure the light,
as they try to steal your soul to keep.

The shadows spread, begin to mingle,
becoming ever stronger in their evil intent,
maliciously seeking souls from the vulnerable,
they journey on and will not relent.

They silvery moon, she grants them life
and gives the shadows their umbras guise,
so pray they do not find you, to cause you strife,
if they do, beware, do not open your eyes.

When the black velvet night grows old,
dying; as the early morning begins to dawn,
the shadows retreat from here they evolved,
as the sun rises  and a new day is born.

Snorting with amusement when Killian retorted that a fighting ring was no place for a pup, although a grin stretched itself onto his maw when he asked the pup who out of them was a threat.  If it had been brought up by Killian he knew its answer straight away hence the grin, stretching himself out comfortably he decided it was probably best if he demonstrated the white demons abilities. Killians jibe about keeping his fighting skils active just made him laugh, he had his own ways of staying fit and sharp, besides if the white demon entered the clan after all he’d have the perfect sparring partner. It wasn’t much longer after that when his leader Nightstar returned, getting up he moved over to the dark brown male and murmured into his ears “If you wish to produce pups in the future Nightstar, I’d simply trust in the fact that he survived the fighting ring and that Myself and Killian count ourselves lucky not to have fought him. When it comes to ex fighting ring dogs and wolves, you know you’re getting cold hard killers that have little morals” he knew that was exactly what Nightstar wanted warrior wise and so mulled over his options before deciding to inform Nightstar of his other idea when Killian wasn’t about. He was fairly certain the dark wolf wouldn’t approve of the grey wolf suggesting they try and recruit his sister to shadowclan, flashing the black wolf, white dog and pup a smirk he flicked his ears “Come on FF I believe its time for you to annoy everyone in Shadowclan, your speciality” he flicked a look at Killian and sent him a quick look of boredom “Escort yourself off our turf mangy brat, take your pup too before she becomes sick” with that he waited for Nightstar to move out always careful around the somewhat unstable leader.

Staying quiet and out of the way, Claire had listened to it all, disliking the mist that continued to swirl around her the young wolf blinked her green eyes up at Killian when he asked her what wolves were threats. Brightening up at the test she bounded forward "White dog, ex fighting ring, threat, big grey wolf, impressive scarsh, also ex fighting ring, threat. Brown wolf..." she tilted her head studying him the way she'd been taught by Dani before the other black canine had vanished some time ago "Unshable, paranoid, thish would get in the way of hish fighting sho... not a threat Dad!" looking back up at him hoping that she'd managed to get it correct she watched the mismatched eyes of the black wolf rather excitably. Completely unaware of the lisp that dogged her whenever she spoke, she wagged her slip of a tail and awaited his response quite eagerly. She didn't care if the brown wolf got upset with her, her dad was a much better fighter than he was, and it seemed her dad knew the grey wolf and the white dog meaning they'd likely come to her aide due to the comradeship between them.

Amused at the other fighter's responses, Killian listened to Claire answering the question, giving an approving nod. “Good. And the female?” She hadn't escaped his notice, despite being silent and watchful the whole time. Once he had her answer about the female wolf, he yawned again and got to his feet, scratching his scars absently. “I suppose that would be a timely thing to do. I'm sure I'll see you around again, however.” Flicking Steel and FF a quick glance promising later meetings, he padded off silently, his black coating blending with the mist and rendering him invisible almost immediately. Confident that Claire was with him, he retraced their path back to the beach, curious to see if anything else was going on that was related to the strange mist. Maybe he'd send the pup back to the kelpie male and go find his sister to see how she was going. She'd want to know that FF was out and about, just to keep aware of him.

Nightstar tilted his ear towards Dragonsteel as he spoke to him softly and gave the older male a sharp nod trusting his words. The brute had yet to steer him wrong with his words and thus had earned the leaders respect especially since he was the only one the brown male always listened to. He didn't react to the pups words other than to look down at her as she spoke with her lisp but he could see even then that she would be a good asset to the clan should she ever decide to join one. Only once the pair had left did the male speak up turning his green eyes to the pair of males. "Lets go. Hopefully everyone will be back by the time we get there. There is a meeting to be held." his words that got spoken were mostly directed at Dragonsteel before he turned and started to lead the way back to camp at an easy trot pausing to grab a toad that jumped into his path as he went.

A little disappointed that he wouldn’t get to demonstrate his infamous ball-snatching routine, the white dog sighed to himself and settled down to wait paitently however it seemed he didn’t have to wait long as soon enough Killian was taking his daughter and vanishing off into the mist. Watching as the pup followed him, the dog turned about on his paws and lowered his nose to the ground picking up Steels rather potent stink the little white dog with curly fur padded after him not at all bothered by the mist. This was nothing, if you wanted creepy in his book you’d go into the old warehouse where the fights were held, anything this clan could throw at him was peanuts compared to what he’d already been through in his life. The old collar was made of nylon and was a little mangled where other dogs had grabbed it over the years, it was the only sign that the scarred white dog had ever once been a house-pet, long ago before he’d been stolen from his home. However as far as he was concerned, the fight ring was the best thing that’d ever happened to him, he’d been bored in the two leg house, and the ring had put some much needed excitement into his life, hopefully this pack could do the same.

Blackwidow had been getting more and more irritated with all the loners and dogs that had decided to make there way into their territory. At the dogs words of if she was Nightstar's mate she laughed. She could never be the mate of somebody so cruel. When Nightstar and Dragonsteel showed up she had to say that she felt a bit better but when Nightstar had allowed the white demon as he calls himself to join the clan, her tail twitched back and forth in anger. She had never thought that there would be a day where a dog would join Shadowclan. She didnt personally hate the white demon its just she has had some really bad experiences with dogs and didnt trust them and from when there was still a stormclan the dogs in that clan were weak. But from hearing some of the back story of the little white dog at least she knew that it wouldnt be the case with this one. So for now she would try and keep her rude opinions to herself, unless he proved otherwise. When Nightstar left in the direction of the howl that seemed to be coming from the area of smothering ruins she was surprised at his quick return and she noticed something had put him in a bad mood. When he bit her tail she growled at him, showing teeth. There was no reason for that all he had to do was ask her to leave. Not wanting to be around anymore in case he decided to attack her, Blackwidow made her way to camp. Deciding to take a really long way back to help clear her mind and do away with her attitude. Her picking a fight with Nightstar really wasnt going to help anybody.

The sleek female strode up and dropped the pup rudely, in all essence the only thing that had changed upon her entrance to the dark forest had been her eyes. Alive they'd been yellow and now in death they'd changed, focusing intently on the little pup she was struck with how similar it looked. Tilting her head her jaws parted allowing her tongue to loll out of her mouth, she knew some of the wolves in that camp, the ones that had been of Stormclan yet it'd seemed like none of them had recognized her. Still it was understandable why her eyes had changed so much, perhaps if fools came after her she'd banter, see if she could trigger their memories, either way it'd be interesting seeing their reactions to what she was going to do to this little morsel. Lowering her head she sunk her teeth into the pups belly careful not to go too deep, after all what was the point of killing this one when she could screw him up for life and play with him later? Ripping his skin off and leaving only a few layers keeping his insides where they were meant to be she moved on to his back leg, digging her teeth into his leg careful not to sever it this time she made sure her bite went all the way to the bone. When he came around once she'd left he'd be in such pain, perfect. She continued to work on the pup applying more and more damage to his small frame until other wolves showed themselves...

Sleetpup, the tiny creamy white male with the brown eyes had just woken up when the she-wolf began to tear into him. He screamed in pain as her jaws ripped into his belly and the smell of blood drifted into the air. Shocks went down his tiny spine and he tried his best to fight back but he couldn't do anything! His paw had been twisted badly and it was preventing him from getting up. He forced himself onto his belly to protect it from more harm however doing so made that wound dirty and it might cause some infection. He then let out a louder scream as the mysterious and now dangerous fae bit into one of his hind legs. He squirmed and tried to crawl away from her, calling for help. "IVYSHADE!!!! Minkfur! ANYBODY, PLEASE HELP ME!" he screamed with oily tears rushing from his eyes and wetting his muzzle. They dripped from his nose and fell to the ground.

He kept trying his best to crawl away, looking like what a seal would do, as he was using only his front legs to crawl away. He tucked his tail between his legs and prayed to StarClan someone would come to rescue him soon.

Running up with her tongue lolling out of her mouth, Bramblerose narrowed her gaze seeing the large white wolf standing over Sleetpup, glancing over her shoulder for the others she strode forward and growled softly. Staring at her, the red wolf did her best to try and remember who on earth they were, dimly familiar, something that continued to nag at her, "Leave that pup alone! Back off"she stepped forward fully intending to swipe Sleetpup and carry him to Ivyshade so the medicine wolf could tend to him. She wasn't as big as the white female, nor had she been a warrior very long as her own training had quite a few holes in it, still she'd do her best to try and rescue the little pup that lay between the females paws shaking with terror. Bramblerose growled softly, a maternal instinct insisting that she do her utmost to rescue the pup however she had enough brains to not start anything until Direheart and Minkfur showed up. Something told her that she'd need their help if she wanted to have any real shot at rescuing Sleetpup.

Minkfur was hot on Bramblerose's paws, running as fast as her feet would allow. She was a wolf built for strength, however- not speed. There was an effort nonetheless. As she ran, her heart dropped upon hearing a cry, and it didn't take long for her to realize it was Sleetpup. Lifting her head, Minkfur howled back, "Hold on, Sleetpup!" She increased her pace, soon arriving at Bramblerose's side, panting and coming to a halt. Her dull eyes looked over the she-wolf in confusion, narrowing. She looked vaguely familiar, yet a name couldn't be placed. Her eyes then found Sleetpup's bloodied form. A soft gasp left her muzzle, rather horrified. Why would somebody injure a pup like that...? He was so innocent, helpless... Only a monster would try to harm a pup. Minkfur assumed a dominant position and stalked forward, baring her teeth and flattening her ears against her head. "You are very much unwelcome on ShadowClan territory. Get away from the pup and leave immediately, or we won't hesitate to kill you," the large she-wolf snarled, lashing her tail and narrowing her eyes. Should the stranger refuse to leave, she'd gladly attack her, hopefully allowing Bramblerose or Direheart to take Sleetpup and head back to the camp.

Trotting up neatly enough and ignoring the fact that she was trespassing familiar scents of the furred mink, Brambled rose and heart of a dire came to her. The furred mink was talking to someone, and so she rolled promptly in the mud hiding her scent and slunk around surprisingly quietly as she came to a spot where she could watch. The wolf she saw there standing over sleety pupper made a mad giggle escape her, bursting out form her hiding place the yellow eyed wolf cried out "Sweet mother! how is it the mother did escaping her cold grave a Heart of Crystal gave hers?? Is a mothers here to punish the wolves that did pick on her cherished maggot?" Her yellow eyes flicked to the furred mink at that, she'd never tried to understand the maggot, and had always assumed that she was evil when in reality the white and black she wolf was just different. She had never forgotten either that when Solsthiem had first come to the clan camp with her when it had been stormy clam that it had been Blackwidow and Minkfur that had had a go at him making him reluctant to join the clan. Indeed if he'd been allowed to join he would have prevented the maggot from attacking Jesterpaw, indeed she would have been calmed and almost normal, without her now Jesterpaw would do as he wished for the furred mink had no hold over the red and black creature. "The lustered pelt is back how excitement! So many flowers of nighty shade were laid at the mothers grave, is the mother here to punish the weak like she punished the maggot when the maggot was weak? The maggot is strong nows" Giggling madly to herself at sleetpups cries as he'd always come across to her as another penguinpaw, another shiverpool, a wolf and dog that she'd never gotten along with and so it was rather funny to her that the luster pelted parent of hers had picked him out of the clan to toy with. The golden one, Sol had fixed the mental tear as best as he'd been able to, to the point where she was mainly insane most of the time now instead of the dangerous cold sane side that was surprisingly far more deadly than the insanity that clouded her minds eye. Intelligent as ever however, Cheshire shook the mud off of herself and stood off to the side out of the reach of the furred mink, not trusting her, never trusting her, although the crazed grin on her face was deceptive as ever.

After following Cheshire from Sunset point, Roka slowly approached where Cheshire was, hoping that she was downwind of the others there. She spotted another shadowy-wolf like what she encountered at Sunset point but not exactly the same. She couldn't see the pup under its paw but she could tell that the other two nearby were distressed about something.

'So dramatic, everything changes yet stays the same which means that the bigger fighters might be busy being distracted with the shadow wolf. Oooh, the white one provided to be exactly what I needed. Now shinies can be mine and all it takes is the clan to get worked up over a stranger wolf more so than I.' She thought as she watched Cheshire approaching Minkfur. Roka glowered at Minkfur and assumed based on fur color that Minkfur was a healer.

'Picking on the weak addled addicted healers... may the white one have her fun and save some for me.' she thought nastily with a lick of her lips in anticipation.

The yellow eyed she wolfs words made the female burst into laughter, throwing her head back and cackling, meeting the yellow eyes with her own unnaturally glowing eyes the dark forest wolf leered "You can't kill whats already dead pup. Your words are nothing but wind" keeping her gaze fixed on the wound up angry arrogant little pup. The white furred vampire lowered her head and blatantly devoured the part of the pups stomach she'd torn off and licked her lips contentedly, her attention was distracted briefly at the sight of a familiar three legged wolf. "Maggot... you're alive, how joyful. Indeed your sweet caring mother is here to punish those that have no right to live" noting the other wolf who had blue eyes and a gold hint to her fur, a smirk flickered onto her features. "Maggot, show your.... friend where the fun can be had" she had little doubt that she still had a severe sway over her daughter, after all so much teaching at the start of ones life is never truly forgotten and now that she'd returned her little daughter would become a puppet in the name of the darkness. Her muscles tensed a moment as she felt something give in the weft of air and the waft of time, a wolf had escaped, Eclipsestar would not be pleased absolutely not pleased at all. Looking down at her prize hunger tore at her, how she wanted to eat more of the morsel, he was so tasty, and she hungered for his flesh. It'd be so easy, however with the dark leader likely on the warparth it'd be smarter to leave now and return later, still she was loathe to leave the little morsel without something to remind him of her. Nosing him her nostrils flaring at his scent, the powerful female whispered into his ear "Know that it was Eclipsestar that stopped me from eating you alive, I'll let you go now but you're my little morsel and i'll always be watching you" he should consider himself lucky that she didn't remove one of his legs like she did with her daughter. Instead she moved and with one paw keeping him pinned inspected his tail, her eyes flicked up to the dark brown wolf a savage glee in her eyes as she bit away the pups tail leaving him with nothing. Lifting her head, chewing, spitting the bones rather pointedly into the shadowclan wolfs face, nothing would rescue the pups tail and naturally it'd never grow back, she was after all in the dark forest and eclipsestars mate for a reason. She was every bit as twisted, cunning, and sadistic as the blood soaked male, swiping her tongue over her muzzle the female laughed as she became non-corporeal just before the stranger attacked, slinking around the clearing before vanishing heading off elsewhere to create more chaos and strife.

Sleetpup's eyes widened as Cheshire came into view and he continued to crawl until he felt the white-furred fae who had attacked him pinned him with one of their paws. He didn't know what he was in for before he felt a searing pain hit his tail and he found himself screaming in pain as bit by bit his tail was taken away from him. The tiny white pup's fur was turning red where his tail had ended and it was already turned red on his belly and his one hind leg she had bit all the way through. He screamed harder before his brown eyes rolled back and he fainted right then and there due to bloodloss and due to fear. His heart continued to beat, rather fast in fact, as his gaze blacked out and he fell into unconsciousness.

He'd delayed joining the rest of the wolves, still considering that the white Sleetpup would be better off unsaved than be weak and worthless in the clan. Seeing that the strange white female seemed to have disappeared, he paused there a moment before turning around and beginning to head back to camp. Flicking his tail, he couldn't help the soft murmur to himself. “She's gone, get the worthless pup and let's go home.” Clearly he hadn't been needed, which pleased him. One less thing to do that wasn't going to benefit the clan. He ignored the loners lurking about. Minkfur was there after all, and she could just as well deal with them as he could, likely better since he was still only young in the clan rankings. No need for an overload of aggressive wolves driving the two she wolves out.

Standing there as two other wolves turned up, she could feel herself to start to grow numb again, once the whtie wolf who'd been fingered as Lusterpelt left, she rather robotically moved forward and picked up sleetpup. Seeing Direheart appear, murmur to himself and leave, Bramble decided that the best notion was to return to camp with the pup. she didn't want to fight Cheshiregrin or The loner with her, she didn't want to fight at all actually. With the small white pup dangling in her jaws, Bramblerose made her way home, retreating into her self and starting to care less and less about what was going on again. Minkfur was Deputy she was able to deal with the two wolves by herself, if she was honest with herself she was starting to distance herself from her friend. There was nothing relatable between them anymore, Minkfur was on a path to a higher place where as she felt her own path was leading her towards the dark forest.

Minkfur was about to pounce on the sadistic stranger as the female carelessly, shamelessly bit into the pup. However, fear and disgust held her back. Who and what was this... monster? What kind of wolf would do such a thing to an innocent pup? It was horrific. She wished only the worst of things upon the stranger. Getting over the feelings that held her back, the deputy was about to attack before the she-wolf disappeared, leaving the brown female to lash her tail in frustration. "Absolute monster!" Minkfur howled, pacing in rage before inhaling, calming down. She turned her mind to the words the stranger had stated. The wolf said she couldn't be killed- she was already dead. 'How?' Minkfur shook her head before turning to the other ShadowClan wolves, her fur bristling slightly as they both left. She wasn't thrilled about being left to deal with the loners on her own. However, the female flicked an ear before turning to Cheshiregrin and the unfamiliar wolf with her. The young deputy curled back her lips to show off her sharp fangs, growling, "Neither of you are welcome on ShadowClan territory unless you have proper business here. If you don't, allow me to see you off." If they didn't leave, she'd gladly attack. Hopefully someone would send reinforcements if she took too long getting back to the camp.

Roka calmly watched the dark wolf left to head to the other camp with her ear flicking to Cheshire for any further instructions on what this fun might be. The pup had been set free which was no concern of Roka's but the weak sounds he was making. Her eyes rolled at the sight of him fainting because she felt it was his own fault for being trapped and laying down to take it. She thought back to her own puppyhood and how the pup was making a bigger deal than it was... of course she couldn't feel some of her toes still. Either way, survival has a price.

When Minkfur addressed Cheshire and Roka, the golden female with an annoyed look on her face just stared at the dark brown and black-faced wolf. "You want to address me properly because rude manners like that will get you killed or chewed on." She slunk to be straight in Minkfur's line of sight, her eyes locking with theirs with a sadistic grin on her muzzle, "Now, I came for shinies and I see two right on your face I could take if I wanted a much more... intense apology for your transgressions whelp."
