| A pool of water that reflects the rays of the setting sun. Named after Firestar, a previous ThunderClan leader. Many fish are found in these waters and animals from all around come to drink from its depths. It is fed by Perch's Flow, a river that winds itself through RiverClan's land. | |

| The young warrior padded up quietly, the now thawed water of the pond would be refreshingly cool. Moving so he was ankle deep he lowered his head and took a refreshing drink of water, this place held so many memories for him. This had been where Lionpaw had murdered Pandamask, and had been where she'd tried to let Maplepaw and Lightpaw drown in it during leafbare. He'd rescued them and had been made a warrior for it while she was forever stuck with an apprentice name. The look of betrayal she'd flicked at him when he'd told the clan what he'd done and what she'd done still hurt, but hurting pups was a no no for him. Wandering deeper he quietly splashed in the refreshing water, she'd been his best friend and how he missed her. He often wondered if the others thought that he'd helped Lion kill Pandamask, shuddering at the thought the young warrior wandered deeper until he was swimming. Taking a breath he dove down underneath the water watching the fish clad in chain mail flick away from him smooth and swift through the clean clear waters of the pond. All too soon he was bursting through the surface of the water again for a breath of the life giving air once he was ready he dove beneath the surface trying to get away from the memories. | |

| Trotting up, Angus was immediately interested in the pond, splashing into the shallows happily. He did love the water, despite how scraggly and then curly his coat would get. Paddling happily, he jumped a little as he noticed Mustangspirit swimming in the pond. Patiently waiting until the older wolf noticed him, Angus amused himself with pawing at the tiny fish and other water creatures in the water, ending up pushing his muzzle into the water to snorkel a few times. When Mustangspirit did come over, the young dog, barely older than a pup, dipped his head in greeting. “Morning!” he chirped, batting at the water playfully still. “Rosestar said she wants to chat with you when she gets back from the hunting patrol.” | |

| When he surfaced again a bright 'morning' gave him a slight fright, spinning around in the water he recognized Rosestars apprentice Angus. Swimming into the shallows in time to hear what the apprentice wanted he was somewhat surprised with what he had to say. Why would she want to chat with him in particular? Shrugging to himself deciding he'd find out once he returned to camp, he reluctantly waded out of the water and shook himself off watching the dog knowing very well what Lionpaw would have said about him. He kept that to himself, he wasn't like that any more, he was good, he was a warrior while she was forever an apprentice. "Alright, I'll head back now then" he murmured to the dog whos coat was rapidly going curly in the wet, shaking himself out vigorously the dun wolf padded up the stony shore of the pond carefully before slipping into the thick undergrowth to make his way back to camp questions buzzing about in his brain. He could hear the sound of crickets singing all through the bushes as he walked, their vibrant noises adding more to the music of the forest. The territory of Thunderclan was the most beautiful in his opinion it wasn't dark and marshy like shadowclan, too wet and fishy like riverclan, open land like windclan or mountainy like sunclan. Those territories sounded like a nightmare to him, no Thunderclan was indeed the best place in the big wide world. He was so lucky to be able to call it home. ~Thunderclan Camp~ | |

| Giving the warrior a friendly wag of his tail, Angus nodded and watched him go before pouncing at one of the fish. Missing rather spectacularly, he landed with a big splash, and just had a swim instead. He loved the water, and was so glad that there was a place close to the camp that he could go swimming when he wanted to. Snorkelling again, he blew bubbles to amuse himself before diving under the water for a bit and surfacing again. Finally heading out of the water, he stood in the shallows and shook his waterlogged coat, ignoring how curly his coat was going. Deciding that it was probably time to head back now that he'd had a cool down in the pond, he turned his sensitive nose for home and retraced his footsteps, trotting along the foresty ground happily. Getting distracted by an extremely interesting scent, he paused to inspect it, trying to work out what it was from. | |

| Walking along carrying her tail neatly she flicked her ears about when she heard a familiar sniffing, crouching down she slipped through the undergrowth until she came across the dog she'd been looking for. Unable to help herself she smirked and stalked him a little until she was within range, pouncing on the dog she pinned him underneath her paws "Always be on alert Angus" getting off him she snorted realizing he was soaking wet and his fur had gone curly. Man dogs stunk when they got wet, unlike wolves, well in her opinion anyway, wondering why he was still hanging around her she tilted her head quietly. He was annoying but not in a bad way, drawing her mind away from that she looked towards the water "Been looking for fish? I suppose I can spare a few moments to teach you how, come on" not waiting for an answer the lead female wandered down to the shore of the lake. She'd learnt some fishing as an apprentice although she'd always been more interested in fighting, however she could fish at least a little enough to teach the dog. Once he got the hang of it he'd probably end up better than her since he loved the water so much, a little amused that he hadn't ended up in riverclan she waited for the dog to catch up. | |

| Yelping when he found himself pinned, he wriggled out from under her paws and batted at her muzzle playfully. “I’ll try,” he promised, and wagged his tail gleefully at the offer of fishing lessons. “Yes, fishing!” Bounding after her, he tried to pounce on her rump, wondering if she’d notice and dodge or if he’d maybe possibly – he knew it would be very unlikely though – maybe he’d surprise her and actually stick the landing. Rolling off her regardless of her reaction, he fell on his back and lay there, giggling slightly in amusement. It was just so much fun to be out and not doing anything much. Wriggling in the dirt a little, he was soon up and bounding after his mentor, splashing straight into the pond for another swim. Coming back out eventually, he shook the excess water out of his coat and sat on the shore, looking at her expectantly. “So how do I fish?” | |

| Ignoring the bat to her muzzle she'd heard him clattering along behind her and so had deftly side stepped in time to see the pup go rolling past, snorting as he dashed into the water for another quick swim she stood in the water with a very done look upon her features. "Usually by not scaring away all the fish idiot" the fiery female informed the pup sharply, "Follow me and for starclans sake keep your racket down!" snapping at him grumpily she waded out of the water and slipped around the pond until she found a patch of water where the fish had gathered. Flicking her tail she shot him a glance "sit stay and watch Irish" she told the setter before very slowly moving into the water, standing in the shadows where her own shadow was hidden she kept as still as a statue waiting patiently before she finally struck lunging forward and clamping her jaws around a fish, it wriggled disgustingly in her grip making her feel queasy. This was why she didn't hunt fish, tightening her jaws rose climbed up out of the water and shook herself off finishing the fish off with more pressure before dropping it "you can also bat them out of the water and onto the shore but they can wriggle their way back into the water, so you have to find what works best for you" she explained wrinkling her muzzle at the disgusting taste of the fish. However when she glanced up at the sun and realized it'd been a while and that Nettlecloud had likely talked to Cherrypaw, flicking her tail for Angus to follow she turned and headed back to camp swiftly ~Thunderclan Camp~ | |

| Taking in her instructions, and the demonstration, Angus scratched his neck a bit before wading slowly into the water, his tail waving gently. Situating himself where the fish couldn't see his shadow, he waited surprisingly patiently for a bouncy puppy, intent on the flicker and glimmer of scales under the water. Keeping his eye on one larger fish in particular, he watched and waited, and finally struck. He grabbed the fish, but it put up more of a fight than he'd expected, and both he and the fish thrashed around in the water for a few long seconds. Somehow managing to come out on top, and with the fish still wriggling a little in his jaws, the dog proudly bounded out and shook his head, tightening his grip on the fish to finally kill it. Dropping it proudly on the ground, he looked at his mentor happily, getting a very brief nod of approval before she was up and going again. Contentedly eating both fish so not to waste them, Angus nosed the leftovers back into the pond for the rest of the fish to nibble at and clean up, and trotted on. he could remember the very interesting scent that he'd found before, and he wanted to follow it. | Walking up to the pond, the warrior scented around and found to her surprise that no one else had been here since she and Angus had been a few moons ago. Did that mean that the others weren't hunting? Grumbling to herself at that prospect, the orange warrior padded down to the pond and looked out over the water seeing a fair few fish still in there, that was good for Angus he enjoyed the water and fishing the curly idiot. Right she wasn't sure how much teaching Pigeonheart had done with Maplepaw, the coward seemed to enjoy talking about himself instead of actually doing anything. When she lifted her muzzle, the scent of various land animals came to her as well, she'd point the red apprentice in that direction. A bit more at ease now she was away from the border and with hunting in mind, she waited impatiently for the apprentices to arrive her thoughts lingering on Angus. Yes he was a dog and an apprentice, but she was drawn to him, immensely grateful for his comfort and presence when she'd gotten back from the moon cave, Rosethorn scratched an old scar for a few moments. She knew him well and knew that he was plenty more than others in the clan noticed, they seemed to think he was a thick puppy brain and if she was honest the feisty warrior was eagerly awaiting the day when the dog proved them wrong. | |

| Trotting up, the young pup dropped the rabbit at his mentor's feet and gave her shoulder a gentle bump with his head. “Sorry. Maplepaw wanted to stay and there was a strange dog there. But he's friendly and I think she was taking him back to the camp. He looked to be blind.” Nudging the rabbit closer to her, he fixed her with a stern look, quite strange for the happy go lucky dog. “You should eat something,” he said firmly. “Then hunting lesson.” He was worried about her, and stepped forward again to nuzzle into her side. Leaning on her until she ate the rabbit, he sat and looked at her expectantly, always ready to learn. He adored learning new things, and likely would never be satisfied. Always on the lookout for something new to wrap his head around, the pup for once managed to contain himself enough to wait for his mentor to teach him something new. | |

| Season |
Leaf-Fall has finally started, with the nights gradually getting cooler. Perhaps snow is on the way, perhaps it will be late this year. Either way, the dark shadow that was over the clans seems to have finally lifted, leaving them in peace for now to stock up on rpey for the coming cold months.
This season's successful numbers are: 1, 3, and 8
